Boot to safe mode and log in with that account and you are good to go. You need to create a LOCAL admin account, Go to settings and accounts, then Family and Other, add an account and chose local only, set a password and recovery questions/answers and change the account from user to admin. I must admit I do like that feature thou. Ill give this some consideration, but I've only just purchased another year with Norton360. Instructions on how this works are here it runs before the OS and services run, and you can schedule it as needed - every six months, for example.Īvast Business also supports scheduling of boot-time scans on Windows devices, and they can be set up via Tasks. Also tried the onscreen keyboard encase the keyboard was acting up.ĪBSpiced76 - I know it doesn't answer your question on Safe Mode (I see you have gotten several answers already!) but I wanted to throw another option out there for you - running a boot time scan for threats with your AV.Īvast supports this natively. Just one account, tried the password many times and I've had no issues previously.
